Philly Time!
Philly Time is known as the benchmark amongst philly cheesesteak aficionados. Currently a long time favorite in northern Kansas City, Philly Time prepares to relocate to space in Briarcliff Village, just north of downtown.
Briarcliff Development called on the Clockwork team of creatives to rebrand the restaurant's identity and blend seamlessly with the makeover of an existing retail space. Rich wood tones alongside cool blue gray form a classic backdrop to the owner’s eclectic collection of wall clocks. Light-filled and airy, high arched windows frame a spectacular view of the city skyline, further animating the space. An existing tin ceiling adds a vintage touch…and a splash of color brings a new modern twist.
Philly Time will offer a full lunch menu of chilled subs, croissant sandwiches and tasty sides sure to be great for ‘grab-n-go’ alongside several versions of their authentic cheesesteaks… the sizzling comfort food they are so famous for.
A taste of the East Coast, right in our home town. Drop in some time….

Blacktop Creative
Committed to creativity for the spaces you work in. “Green” is at the top of mind as we deliver healthier environments for our clients to grow in!
Our latest just a few steps away from our own office; another tired space brought back to life as a fascinating, satisfying and productive place to work. Ignited by the imaginations and creative talent of the Blacktop Team, we were inspired by found objects at a recycling yard as well as the Blacktop collection of artifacts. Custom cast iron manhole covers, large painted signs, and 100 year old barn wood were mixed with modern and efficient lighting, millwork, and furniture to create this dynamic space. Careful soda blasting and paint removal revealed the timeless building shell, and the wood beam ceilings are restored to their original luster.
