J.E. Dunn unveils new HQ

J.E. Dunn Construction Co. unveiled the design of its new downtown headquarters Friday at an event that also offered more twists to the evolving East Village redevelopment plan.

Clockwork worked with the Healthcare Division currently located in the Town Pavilion to develop space standards and work-flow analysis. After successfully completing that project, Clockwork developed the space guidelines and detailed program analysis for the new Headquarters building.

Groundbreaking is expected next spring for the $50 million building, which will house up to 550 J.E. Dunn employees. The building also is being designed to achieve a silver or possibly gold LEED status, a national rating system measuring a building's environmental friendliness.
